Día del Trabajo feliz!
Labor Day, día del trabajo, es un día festivo federal que se celebra en Estados Unidos el primer lunes de septiembre. Tiene su origen en un desfile celebrado el 5 de septiembre de 1882 en Nueva York organizado por los Noble Orden de los Caballeros del Trabajo (Knights of Labor). Inspirados en un evento anual similar realizado en Toronto (Canadá). En 1884 se realizó otro desfile y los Knights of Labor decidieron hacerlo anualmente.
Otras organizaciones, mayoritariamente las afiliadas a la Primera Internacional, preferían el 1 de mayo, fecha que rememora el inicio en 1886 de una huelga reivindicativa de la jornada laboral de ocho horas y que había llevado a la Revuelta de Haymarketde Chicago, tres días después, el 4 de mayo. El presidente Grover Cleveland creyó que el feriado del 1 de mayo seria una oportunidad para desórdenes. Por tanto, temiendo que reforzara el movimiento socialista, rápidamente en 1887 dio su apoyo a la posición de los Knights of Labor y su fecha para el día del Trabajo.
Desde entonces a diferencia de la mayoría de los países, Estados Unidos celebra el día del trabajo en una fecha distinta.

Archangel Cassiel, Accessing the Source is his specialty. He is a manifestor born out of the understanding of desire. 'De Sire' meaning of God. He holds the power to create new realities quickly. Divine light swirls around and through this angel for he knows how to harness it so exquisitely that only greatness transpires from the vision to the physical.
Cassiel is drawn to divine frequencies and consequently presides over dolphins, and other oceanic life. Water is a divine conductor and Cassiel gathers its energy by product using it to cleanse away feelings of negativity leaving clarity available to heal, feel and reveal. Angel of the Day: Raphael
Archangel Raphael, which means "The Shining One Who Heals," was also an early Chaldean God who came to be recognized by Jewish and Christian scholars as the Angel of Healing. This Ruler of the Second Garden of Eden. Raphael's attributes are to bring us understanding, knowledge, chemistry, and medicine. Raphael is one of the six great Angels of Repentance, Prayer, Love, Joy, and Light.

Angel of the Day: Haamiah
Haamiah - Angel of Integrity - An angelic of the order of powers. Haamiah dominates religious cults and "protects all those who see the truth."
Daily Prayer: Purifies Lord, my feelings, aside from me, what does not fit with the Divine rules. Grant that my heart wants only what you, HAAMIAH, like, for me, from heaven. Teach me, Lord Art combine water (my feelings) with fire (I Will) so that stops me, the struggle between these two "brothers". And when I reached my inner peace, and that I will be able to maintain a positive and useful (to my neighbor and myself), I ask you to grant me the attributes of logic and reason so, with my family, I can resurrect, in the heart of your Men Truth, as it is and Happiness will prevail in the World.

Latino Americans -- 50 million strong and counting -- are both the largest and the fastest-growing minority in the country. They played a decisive role in the 2008 election, making the difference for Obama in Florida, Colorado, and New Mexico. They represent around a trillion dollars of buying power (roughly 10 percent of U.S. consumer spending). And with 32 million Hispanics online, they are among the most wired and connected groups in the country.
So I'm delighted to announce the launch of HuffPost LatinoVoices. These are really challenging times for millions of Latinos. But as I said when I recently spoke at La Raza's conference in Washington, as an immigrant to this country I know that the immigrant spirit and resilience that are at the heart of the American experience can help us overcome whatever obstacles lie ahead and truly move mountains.
Last week, in introducing HuffPost BlackVoices, I talked about how we are living in a split-screen world -- and how, depending on where you look, you get a very different perspective on where things stand.

New "Forever" Stamp to Honor Latin Stars
The postage stamp honors the late Selena, Carlos Gardel, Carmen Miranda, Tito Puente and Celia Cruz. By honoring the five artists, USPS is also honoring five distinct Latin music styles: Tejano, tango, samba, Latin jazz and salsa.
The new stamps may be purchased at local post offices or at USPS.com/shop.
